Car Parking at Melbourne Convention Centre
Parking is available at the Melbourne Exhibition and
Convention Centre. Access is via Siddeley St, and Wilson
Car Park is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Car parking costs are as follows:
Early bird $10.00
Monday-Friday (in by 10.00am, out by 6.00am next day)
First hour $5.50
Maximum charge $25.00
Weekend $10.00 per 24 hours (between 6.00am Saturday until 6.00am
Monday)

Dress Code
Please note that dress standard
for the Congress will be smart casual.
Insurance
Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate
travel and health insurance. Delegate Registration Fees
do not provide any such insurance coverage. The Organising
Committee and the Congress Office accepts no responsibility
for any loss in this regard.
Liability Disclaimer
In case of industrial disruption the Congress Committee,
RANZCP and the Congress Office accept no responsibility
for loss of monies incurred by delegates.
Location
The Melbourne Convention Centre is superbly located
on the banks of Melbourne's Yarra River close to the
heart of the CBD and just 30 minutes from Melbourne's
International Airport. The venue is an easy walking
distance from a range of accommodation options.
Name Badges
All delegates will receive a name badge upon registration.
This badge is the official pass and must be worn to obtain
entry to all Congress sessions, social events and associated
activities.
Registration and Information Desk
The Registration and Information desk at the Melbourne
Convention Centre will operate during the following hours:

Security
We aim to run a safe and secure Congress. Please assist by wearing name badges and letting us know if you have and personal security concerns by completing the question on the registration form.
To improve security the following measures will be put
in place:
- All delegates must wear their name badges at all times. If a delegate is not wearing their name badge at all times during the Congress they will be questioned by staff.
- If a delegate is turned away from entering a session
or exhibition because they do not have a name badge
they will have to produce ID to obtain a new name badge
at the Registration desk.
- All deliveries to the exhibition must report on arrival
to the Registration desk and a representative of the
company receiving the goods must come to the registration
desk to verify delivery.
- No other delegate can collect another delegate's
registration envelope.
Travel
Air
Melbourne Airport is located approximately
25 kms from Melbourne's CBD on the Tullamarine Freeway
and will take approximately 30 minutes by car. Skybus
provides a rapid transit link between the airport and
the CBD, with free hotel connection during the day, every
10 to 15 minutes. Fares from $15.00 per adult and $24.00
return. Alternatively, a taxi ride from the Melbourne
Airport to the Melbourne Convention Centre will cost
approximately $50.00.
Trams/Trains and Buses
Melbourne offers
a range of public transport facilities, with a network
of trams, trains and buses. Both Flinders Street Train
Station and Southern Cross Train Station are within walking
distance from the Melbourne Convention Centre. There
are tram routes 12, 96 and 109 that run from Spencer
Street Railway Station along Spencer St Clarendon St
and towards South Melbourne.

Visa Information (international only)
With the exception of New Zealand citizens travelling
on New Zealand passports all foreign nationals must obtain
a Visa/ETA before travelling to Australia (New Zealand
citizens are issued with a Visa on arrival in Australia).
