College Ceremony and College Address

Venue: John Batman Theatre

Inclusive in all full registration types.  Additional tickets A$40.00 per person.

Please join us for the College Ceremony where new Fellows and Certificate of Advance Training recipients are honoured.  The Ceremony includes the conferring of various honorary awards and prizes and a College address.

Congress Gala Dinner

Venue: Regent Theatre Plaza Ballroom
Cost: Tickets A$120.00 per person.

This function is not included in the registration fee.

The Plaza Ballroom is a magnificent heritage listed venue situated in the very heart of Melbourne on Collins Street below the famous Regent Theatre.

Melbourne City Sights Tour

Experience the beautiful sights of Melbourne on this luxury coach tour. Sights include Fitzroy Gardens, Captain Cook's Cottage, Parliament House, Windsor Hotel, Queen Victoria Market,'MCG', Rod Laver Arena, Flinders Street Station, Young & Jackson's Hotel and St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Stop for morning tea in the Botanic Gardens Café (own expense) and see the famous Shrine of Remembrance, an amazing War Memorial.

Travel past the Grand Prix race track and over West Gate Bridge for panoramic views of Melbourne See Port Phillip Bay the Yarra River and the Arts Centre.

Blue Dandenongs and Wine Tasting in the Yarra Valley

Guests will head out of the city via the Blue Dandenong Ranges which have superb traditional gardens and towering mount ash forests   Visit the Ferntree Gully, Sherbrooke Forest noted for its lyrebirds and fern gullies before heading off for wine tasting in the Yarra Valley.

The Yarra Valley is the historical home of the Victorian Wine Industry in Australia and a scenic area that is a must see for any visitor to Melbourne.   Enjoy lunch at Fergussons Winery followed by tastings at Rochfords Eyton and Domaine Chandon.

 

Penguin Parade to Phillip Island

Phillip Island boasts two of Australia's greatest natural attractions, Seal Rocks and the Penguin Reserve.   This late afternoon tour features the Fairy Penguins at Phillip Island Nature Park and the Fur Seals.  Depart Melbourne for Phillip Island, where the Little Penguins that nest there perform a “parade” every evening – emerging from the sea and waddling up the beach to their burrows.
